The Daily Moaner has no idea what a henge actually is , and is far too lazy to look it up. But Stonehenge is mysterious and dark and brooding, a little like Gordon Brown but much more fascinating. And due to last longer, one might think.
For years now the rule has been to keep off and don’t touch, more so since some idiot took a hammer and chisel to one of the stones last year. But now — due to the BBC and the marvels of the intertubes — you can stand right plonk in the middle of it, and look around. You don’t even have to take your umbrella.
